Lowrance I Finder H2o question

Just picked mine up last night with the Lakemaster chip. Dumb question, how do I get to the lake listings?

I have the H2O and Lakemaster chip. There is no lake list. You just pan around to the lake you want to see and zoom in.

The guy at Gander last night got an actual lake listing on the screen but I can't remember how he got there and the manual isn't very helpful concerning it.

I don't have the Lakemaster chip. But with my experience with my Navionics chip, my guess would be to go to your menu and click on something that says "Map Data". That's where I have to go to select which section of the state I want to view maps of. If you haven't tried that, I would give that a shot.

It takes awhile to familarize yourself with everything, but it doesn't take long. Go to Find>Map Places>Water>and Name and you will get a list of lake names.Enjoy your H20, it's great!

I notice when I'm zoomed in at 1.5 mile on a lake, some areas are marked with a dot. Then when I zoom into 1 mile, they change to numbers. Are those hot spots or something?

Make sure you select lakes and rivers also.

Yes the dots are generaly structure, like if you go to Mille Lacs it will tell you which flat your on.

i assume that they coincide with wave points marked on the lakemaster pro maps. this is just a guess tho as i do not own one YET. ... paul
