The lake I fish on is only an average of 10' deep. My chances of seeing fish arches are very slim in this shallow water. Not that I can aford one, but does anyone have any experience with humminbirds new 180 degree viewer. I guess it is supposed to show more of a picture than arches. I dont really understand it.. Does it just show fish ID like my Lowrance in Auto mode, that may or may not be fish. How good are these units? Is water clairity a big thing with these units? Seems like with my shallow water situation maybe this is what I need, but I would hate to sell the farm to get one and find out they are not that great.
