April Hiawatha TU Chapter Meeting

For anyone who would like to learn more about trout fishing in SE MN, this meeting is all about trout fishing in southeast Minnesota. The meeting is Monday, April 3rd at the Izaak Walton Lodge, 937 7th Ave NE in Rochester, at 6:30pm.

Among the featured speakers for the program are, Steve Klotz and Vaughn Snook from the Minnesota DNR. They will provide an overview of the trout population for the upcoming general trout season and discuss the extensive Anglers Creel Survey the department completed on southeast Minnesota trout streams this past season.

This will be followed by presentations on "Spring Dry Fly Fishing" by local trout fishing expert Wayne Bartz, and "Nymph Fishing Basics" by professional fishing guide Dave Anderson.
