Coyote hunting- - - Where?

I'm new this year to coyote hunting. Where do I go to see them? What about state land? Thanks....

State land and WMA's are closed right now until the first of April.....I think that is what I read in the regulations

what method are you looking to use while hunting? spot and stalk? calling? tracking? in western minnesota where i grew up its all spot and stalk; only recently has my group invested in the time to learn how to call and how to setup for calling situations. my favorite method is to get out solo and cut a fresh set of tracks in falling snow and just start walking. many times we have been very successful applying deer hunting tactics to coyotes; post and drive of abandoned farm groves, cattail sloughs, crp, and willows. thats usually a four man game though.
