Heading to the Fork 03/18/06

Will be there Early A.M. (I hope). Will be riding 2 ski-doos. Wave at us if you want us to stop and say hello. Will start fishing to the S.W. of East boat ramp (across the lake). Hope to meet a few of you Guys and Gals. White Dodge 4x4 parked @ East boat ramp.

Still plenty of ice at the Fork. Fished 47' of water with the typical baits and we landed 15 Macs. Biggest a little over 3lbs. Had a tip up out for pike, but no flags. Was snowing when we left about 4:00 pm.

Hey Dan a 15 Mac day is a good day. Boy the weather at Granby Saturday was beautiful. I'll assume you had some of the same. How thick is the ice at the Fork?

Didn't measure it, but I'm guessing at least 24".
