ice out

I am thinking of heading there for the first time this spring for pike. When is average ice out for lakes in the area? (waubay,bitter,enemy) and do you think it will go out earlier this year?

It will probably be around the last weekend of March until you can put a boat on any of these waters. That's just a guess considering this winter and past ice outs. If shore fishing is your desire, there are places one can catch fish at right now, and more and more spots will be opening daily/weekly.

I kbnow you can fish from shore on south Rush right now but where else can you fish from shore anywhere else

Grenville grade (near the bridge / culverts) opens up early in the year. Not sure if it would be open enough to cast yet. This is the time of year when bridges and culverts will start opening up.
