grab the net
I recently, (for Christmas) received a set of Cabela's Guidewear rain gear. Bibs and jacket. Apon closer inspection I found that the bibs are the regular guidewear and the jacket is the "Pro Series" guidewear. Is there a big difference. In the catalog, it shows the difference as the material used, 500 denier, -vs- ripstop. Anybody out there have any experience with the two. Any clear winner between them. Just wondering if I should go back to Cabela's and exchange or stay with the jacket I have, "Pro Series".
HARPOON-OR-BUST
IN MY EXPERENCE THE PRO SERIES IS A LIGHTER WEIGHT MATERIAL. CLOSER TO A NYLON (POOR EXAMPLE BUT THATS ALL I CAN COME UP WITH) MY UNCLE HAS THE PRO SERIES NOW USED TO HAVE THE REGUALR GUIDWEAR. HE BOUGHT IT BECAUSE HE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE COOLER IN THE SUMMER. ITS OK, HE LIKE THE REGULAR BETTER. THATS WHAT I KNOW ABOUT IT. I HAVE THE REGULAR STUFF AND WOULDN'T GET ANYTHING ELSE.
