Open water idea for hard water

Since I don't get to fish as much as I would like, I spend a lot of time thinking about it. A new one that I am wondering is this: Why not set up something like a lindy rig for ice fishing? You could simply use one of those lindy rig holders with many different lures. Pop a swivel or clip onto the end of your line and voila, You could change colors and type of lure fast. Maybe I have too much time on my hand. Could also be the 21 hour work days lately getting to me. What does any one else think???

i think this would work. I use something very similar but w/o the swivel. the swivel is a very good idea tho.
