Underwater camera light question

Thanks to my darling wife and my lovely children, I received my new Marcum 560 for Christmas. My question. Is it legal to use the camera light at night in Minnesota? Those of you that use the light, does it spook the fish? Thanks for any help.

waska- Yes it is perfectly legal to use the lights in minnesota on your camera. I do not have the exact unit that you do, but I have an underwater camera with the LED lights same as yours. The lights, on some days do spook fish. On others it seems to attract them. More often than not it attracts little zoo planton, which will filter through the food chain, however will render your camera useless. As enough of them little plankton will look like the worst snow storm you have ever been in on your camera.
