Shimano reel repairs

I was wondering if anyone knew someplace close to the north metro that can fix shimano reels. I broke the plastic piece on the bail spring of my old sedona fx1000 and need to get it back together. I thought about looking up the factory site to get the new part shipped, but thought it would be a lengthy process.

Call there customer service. I called a few years back for a broken part on a reel and they sent out the new part, no questions asked. Great customer service.

I had the exact same experience. I lost to top crank down drag piece that holds the spool on and tightens the drag. I told them I accidently dropped it into the rocks while changing spools and it went out of sight (which was the truth). They sent a new one completely free of charge (no shipping charge either). Give them a shout.

You can try Hayes' tackle plus in minneapolis. I get all my reels clean/ lube there and they do all kinds work on reels.
