Well if this has any clue on ice thickness in the area it is only my opinion that I will not be going out this weekend, I checked the ice tonight and about 20 ft out I found only 1-1/2-2" of ice, I did bring my spud chipper home made ICE pics, and a life jacket and the ice was cracking and popping the whole way, so i dont know. It looks as if someone ventured out but I couldnt tell how far, but if you go out make sure you are safe! the ice was sure making alot of noise under my Appr 2oolb frame. The good news is that I saw Ice on the River off of 52 this morning and afternoon lets keep it safe out there so we dont hear of anything bad happening out there!
