KrashR
I thought I asked this question at the end of last year, but I guess I didn't. Anyways I have an otter lodge that I bought from Gander last January. I would say I used it 1-2 times a week throught the winter and did not abuse it, but one of the side windows cracked and the cloth started to rip near the top by one of the supporting poles. I thought this came with a one year warranty, but after emailing Otter at the end of last year they told me they would replace the window material, but I would have to put it in, and the rip they weren't sure about so they wouldn't cover it.... If it does come with a 1 year warranty I could just bring it back to Gander and say I want this replaced for a new one, but I would rather not go to that extreme if I don't have to. Has anyone had this problem or know of a good person to deal with at Otter?
Dave
Care has to be taken when folding any shelter window in the cold temps; says that right in the instructions. I've had Otter shelters for quite a long time and have never had them develop a hole unless I put it there. Where "near" the supporting pole? Kind of hard to believe a hole just developed on the top, unless a seam came apart. Anyone at Otter is very easy to deal with.
