ICE!!!!!

Just a FYI for all you hard water fanes!!! I was on my way to work and in one of the litte water holes along the highway here by kato there was a skim of ice covering the whole thing!!! Now granted the hole was only probally 30' wide and 45' long but it is a start! The other pond that is about 150 yards by 200 yards was about 1/3 iced over. Now granted it is suppose to get to 65 here today but it is like I said a start!

Do you think there are a few fish in that water hole? I'm down in kato right now, I sure hope we don't see 60s, but then again, maybe we'll have to continue chasing open water 'eyes...

Sorry Matt but that little hole is only about 3' deep. You might have a chance at some bullheads The other hole that was froze alittle bit is deep though and they fish that one all the time in winter. They park right on 14 and walk down to it.

I saw a chunk of ice in the baby swing of the backyard swingset this morning.

We had some ice here up in the Wyoming area the last 2 nights. When driving into work at night, seeing a few cars on the side of the road on Diamond Lake by Dayton shore fishing pretty steady. Anyone know if they are getting anything there?
