Bigbartguy
It's time to restring my reels and I'm debating about which line to go with. I dont want to use leaders and I need something that I can actually SEE above the ice!! (after Lasik my 'close' eyes arent as strong!). I think I've got Berkely Micro Ice on now and I guarantee that I wont be able to tie up in a darker fish house.Any suggestions? I usually fish inside a portable or permanent fish house.thanks folks! Big Pine Walleye
I have had very good luck with cajun red. I usually put 6 pound test on. We use it in the summer to make snells and you seriously cannot break this stuff. We used it last winter and it worked as well as anything else. And the last benefit that I see from it is that it is cheap! I saw it onsale at Fleet Farm for around $2.99. You might want to give it a try! Bigbartguy
thanks Big Pine. I was just looking at the Cajun line and I'm going to give it a try!
SXViper
I was just going to mention the Cajun Red. I just saw in the last FF flyer they had Cajun Red ice line listed in there. I will have to get some. Used Cajun Red the last two summers(mostly on Big Pine) with no break offs.Brian
