Patching Fish Trap Fabric

Help. A hole was burned in my Trap. Is there a preferred method of patching this fabric?

If it's canvas (sorry, I've got a different brand and haven't looked at Fish Traps all that close), get some "Tear Mender" and a piece of scrap canvas twice the size of the hole. Follow the instructions on the bottle and you should be good to go. You should be able to find some at places that sell canvas tarps. A good start would be a well-stocked hardware store - adhesives area. We use the stuff to patch canvas tarps for our deer camp and it's a lot easier than sewing.
