StrosLit31
Spend alot of weekends in the ice house and want to watch the Games on Sunday. I would like to buy a flat screen with a wall mount. I saw a couple nice ones last year at the ice fishing show but dont know where or how much these were? Just wondering if any one else had a good buy or suggestion on a TV? hoggs222
Are you talking about a LCD or Plasma? If so, you have to be careful of freezing and making sure that the temperature is right before using.
slick814
I'd say that if you can afford to put an LCD or Plasma TV In your icehouse, why not buy the Waldoch Conversion trailer. You'll get 2 flat screens in that one! J/K. Seriously, I don't know that I'd put that much of an investment into a fishouse TV. Too many times I've heard of people's houses getting broken into, and I know that personally, I can't afford to lose something as spendy as those flat screens. If it were my decision, I'd just pick up one of the TV/VCR combos that are somewhere around $100-$150, maybe less, depending on what size screen you get. A 19" is plenty big for most houses, you could even go to a pawn shop and get a bigger screen TV for that much $$. T hat way you can also do the video thing when there's nothing else on the tube, and it's a lot easier to swallow the loss, should (god forbid ) something happens.
