Rochester area

any one hunting ducks or geese around roch. i have been doing a little but there aren't much to shake the stick at or atleast this has what i have seen. Just wondering how the rest of you all are doing out there? ike

Gone out a couple of times for ducks, nothing doing. I haven't floated any of the streams as yet. I see from the road where some ducks seem to be diving into them.

Geese is even worse. Not much down. I did hear one of the guide services did pretty well last Saturday. At least there was a lot of shooting.

I'm waiting for a real cool snap to bring in the ducks. Then I'll start hitting the streams.

There are nearly 1000 honkers sitting the the CC Manor pits. I watched them the other day and they flew straight west to feed and returned from the West.

There were a few hundred mallard in with them.

those are Always filled with geese and the two ponds out west of town near on the Isaac Walton Nature Area you cant see the water for the thickness of geese. I have been over to whitewater few time thrown a dozen floaters and shot a few mallards some woodies and seen a fair amount of geese. Good luck
