eyepatrol
Just an FYI Here at the lake by Gaylord (which is SW of Minneapolis by about 55 miles) I saw a flock of about 50-60 'bills yesterday. Somewhat odd to see them this time of year and with this warm weather. Second time in the past week there's been some 'bills on the lake. REALLY looking forward to the cold front coming this weekend. Should be an awesome hunt for mallards (seeing more of those around too...more than past years), divers and geese. Actually, it will probably be a good weekend for a nice mixed bag of ducks as there are some woodies around, some pintails, 'bills, mallards, teal, redheads usually move through here, cans usually move through here, ringnecks, gadwalls, etc. I like it when the weather is warm enough to keep local puddle ducks around, then it turns cold enough to bring divers and other ducks around. MAN AM I EXICTED....(can ya tell?)
