delta hunter
what I meant by my question is, after a person is done hunting for the day, does a duck have to be undressed or can just put them in your truck and go home with every attached to the duck yet(feathers,head,wing,etc..)? Sorry, when I first posted this subject I was pretty tired so things typed out kinda funny!!!
TV BOY
Yes, you can take the whole bird home. If it is going be be several hours you may want to gut them and cool them down on ice (if it's warm out). FYI --birds skin easier when warm.
delta hunter
thanks, that's all I was wondering, because in the DNR handbook it wasn't real clear to me whether or not you could do that or not. That's what I've always done, but better safe then sorry!
FOOT
One thing to remember. The Federal regs state you must have one wing attached. The State (MN) regs state you must have one wing and head attached. So you can be legal according to the Feds but illegal according to the State.
