The Regular Season is over!

Well fellas after 162 games the post season is here....

Just watched ESPN's Baseball Tonight and Harold and Steve made there NL and ALDS picks. In the NL both voted for the Cards to beat San Diego and also that Houston will beat the Braves. In the American League they split on both? On the White Sox series Steve picked the Paloes and Harold took the defending champ Boston Red Sox. Steve also picked the LA Angels over the Yankees and Harold took the Yankees.

To the rest of the teams that didn't make the post-season there's always next year so keep your chin-up and stick with em. I personally want to thank the Cleveland Indians for a terrific season, I know it's a tough pill to swallow but you indeed will build on this... To the Philadelphia Phillies man did you guys play down the stretch and that Jimmy Rollins was something else with his hitting streak.

To my friend Geno, man all I can say is Wow! Your cubbies gave Houston all they could handle (if the Cubs captured what they did in that series in Houston and bottled it) They would be my consensous pick in the Central next year. WOW!!!

Congratulations to the playoff teams for grinding through an 162 game season with injuries, ups and downs and for giving us a tremendous regular season. It's been a great year and with only 8 teams left 1 will be champion.

Good luck on Tuesday to the Sox and the Cardinals... "I live for this"

Cudos on that statement there CNY!

I know that true fans of baseball know that the Cards and Sox were in fact the best two teams this year since they finished 1 and 2 with only 1 game apart at 99 and 100 wins.

There would be no better World Series than if our two teams clashed in the "Double Nickel" Series. What a way to send off the ole Busch Stadium. Here's to both our warriors making it to the final battle. I'll share my skybox if you will share yours!!!

YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD...YES!

Mudcutter may have forgotten that since NLDS play started the Cardinals are 15-4 and 7-1 against the west. Good luck against the Red Sox today Windy we have an off day today and I'll enjoy watching the Astros and Braves, Red Sox and White Sox and maybe a couple of innings of Yanks and Angels, those 10 p.m. eastern standard time games are rough

Wow what a game I watched yesterday, if I say if they continue to play like that they will be tought to beat. The thing that gets me most is AJ becoming the 5th catcher in history to hit 2 hr's, what a group he is in now. They had a couple other records last night but can't remember.

    • Yeah it was a beatdown
    • Your kid needs to stay with him!👍
    • My kid was eating in Beverly Hills and ran into this guy. Talked to him a bit and wished him luck in the game tonight.
    • 🤔as a recovering machinist!🤣🤣that must make me a recovering welder!
    • As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that.  If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
    • I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...
    • Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?
    • I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.
    • You're very lucky a troop of Sea Monkey's didn't carry you away.
    • Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe.  I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho.  Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.
