Best carp lakes in the metro?

I had some good early spring carp action in Harrison's Bay on Minnetonka. I fished in about 3 feet of water with a mud bottom. Corn on a slipbobber worked well for 5 to 15lbers. The only other lake I've fished for carp has been Auburn Lake out by Victoria. I saw tons of 'em last summer while pike fishing, so I thought I'd give them a try this year. I've consistently caught 2-8lb carp in 3 feet of water in open sand bottomed areas. They seem to bite best around dark.

What are your favorite metro carp lakes?

I personally like the inner city lakes. Harriet, Calhoun, Isle, Nokomis will all hold good numbers and some real piggies. But the most I've seen for numbers would be Long Lk in New Brighten.

Lake of the Isles is always pretty good early in the morning and just before dark. Not tons of fish but nice average size.
