Dano2
someone told me the other day that a feller that he works with was bragging about and thanking him for his critical habitat plates and how his yearly donation was buying him a bunch of new trees for his land and then paying him $5000 a year for having them planted on his land, he was excited about it, so years down the road, he can post everything up and have some more excellent deer hunting for the family. Hey, I would be excited too, and he has every right to post his own land. But I thought these funds were supposed to be going for this below, copied from DNR site: Where does the additional contribution go? Your additional contribution of $30 or more goes to the Department of Natural Resources to buy and manage important natural habitats which are preserved as public lands and are open to compatible public use, like hunting and hiking. Thats why I've been contributing every year since this thing started. what are your thoughts and feelings about this, I'm about ready to toss my plates, like my neighbor(spelling?) did, thanks Dan
