Hunting the horseshoe chain

Is it possible to hunt the chain near cold spring. Have noticed alot of ducks while fishing out there. also looks good for late season divers. Just wondering if it is legal and if yes has anybody had any luck out ther

I know that it is legal (providing you are far enough from houses/roadways) but unfortunately I can't give you much help because I haven't had the opportunity to hunt it. A kid I hunt with has a neihbor who brought his kids out there for YWD a couple years ago and did really well on the woodies and teal. I might try and make it out to the Chain for a hunt this year, but as they say...so many places, so little time...
