Final Approach Eliminator Express Blind

Hey everybody... need some opinions here. I currently hunt out of an Avery Finisher ground blind and love it... wouldn't change a thing, but my uncle is looking for a blind that won't cost him quite as much as the finisher since he doesn't get to goose hunt as much. Gander Mountain has the Final Approach Eliminator Express Blind on sale for only $130. I have not heard anything about this blind before.... good or bad...... Anybody have any experience with this blind or know anything about it? Any possible information would be of great help. THANK YOU

I went to Gander to look at these blinds last week. The only thing that concerns me is that they are like a sleeping bag. I have the older FA Grondhog. That is the one that has the blanket with the stubble straps. When you move the blanket alot of the grass falls out of the blanket due to movement. I personally like the blinds like the Pro Guide or the Legacy. When these blinds are set up the walls don't move much and hold the grass in them much better. I know they are more expensive but I think your Uncle would like them better.

On a side note maybe you could split the cost of it with him and you could use it for other guys that may hunt with you when he is not with you. I have 3 blinds just for this reason. When a young person or sombody new to the sport goes with me I have a extra blind for them.

I go to school in Aberdeen, SD and do nearly all of my goose hunting down there and only live in Fargo during the summer..... My uncle is from Bismarck though so splitting the cost wouldn't work due to the distance, but could be a good idea if we were closer.

I am the same way... I started hunting out of an ameristep ground blind. They take a little longer to set up and are not quite as comfortable, but you can definately decoy geese out of it so I still keep it around so that if I bring a buddy or somebody else, they can be covered as well.
