have your unit on the gps map side and go into your menu..look for map data highlight it and enter look for navionics area...highlight it and find the name of your map and highlight it and enter should read the chip then..should see a black little chip highlighted in the bottom right corner this tells you that it is reading the chip..hope this works for you and hope you understand my instructions..

Yep, I got it to work. Thanks for your help. I'm thinking that I just had fat fingers or something. Was thinking that the chip may not be good, so I borrowed one from a buddy at work and his came up just fine. Took his out and put mine back in and all was well in the world of GPS. I love it too Don't know how I got along without. Thanks again for your help I appreciate it.M.T.H
