read your post bad luckindeed. one thing struck my funnny bone. NET boy. did i read it wrong. grab them flats by the jaw and hoist em in. two hands if its a 40 plus. Just dont do it with a channel. That hurts. nothing better than setten the hook on a flat. hope you have better luck. PS your line is more likely being cut not broke. two bad you know what size of cat that you had on when it happens to me im sure there much bigger at least hope so. Luck will turn.
