VIN#s on Spartan ?

I need some help. Bought a boat and trailer went to register and transfer trailer. Couldn't do it cause I don't have the serial # off the trailer. Does anyone know where to look on a Spartan boat trailer for the number. ID plate is completely worn off and I've looked all around front tongue area for engraved number. Thanks.

I dont think it would be on the tongue.. Many spartans are tilt trailers and they are replacable.. I have a spartan too and I cant recall ever seeing the serial numbers.. or ever looking for them. If I run across them, I will let you know.

If there was a previous license plate for the trailer, or previous registration, the serial numbers should be on there... otherwise, call a dealer that handles spartan and they may be able to help you.. I think Hannay in Minneapolis used to deal with spartan.. they still might.
