Gas Leak?

I've got a brand new Crestliner 1850 Fishhawk. Question I have is, when I opened the front livewell to let it air out after fishing, I noticed a gasoline smell. Fairly strong too. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be calling the dealer or is this common? (Sorry, I'm used to my old 14' Lund with no floor or livewell.)

Yes, you should be calling the dealer if you have gas fumes.

If it is brand new, heck ya, give them a call... Can't hurt. I have an Alumacraft with a built in gas tank. When I move the boat around in the garage or after I fill it I notice a little gas fumes. I have a vent in the middle of the floor for this reason, thats where my smell is coming from. Might be your issue??
