Good spot to start?

No hotspots or anything(I know how coveting you river rats can be!) But can anyone help me with some places to start for shorefishing flatheads on the MN or Miss? I'm familiar with much of pool 2, the blackdog area, and ft. snelling area. I can catch channels fairly consistently at a few spots but don't know much about flatheads. Actually the only flathead I've caught(24lb) was the one time I chased them, which was with Fisherdave two summers ago(thanks again by the way). And I can't even remember where that was! Or I'm always up to hittin the river with any of you riverrats who will have it! Thanks
