0 Fishing Junky
I just installed a the smaller bunks on my trailer. They were not bent so I could get them close to the boat. I heated them up and bent them so they are now about an inch on both sides. Works great. Start with an inch, and try it at the landing. Bring tools if you have to make some adjustments. Good luck, Junky....
0 Valv
Remember, on some boats the widest area is between the center section, or at the windshield. The rear gets a little narrower, so you might want to check yours. It wouldn't be nice to get it stuck on trailer while unloading. Bunks frame will flex a little. 0 Guest
When I put guide ons on my trailer.I measured the widest point of the boat, then added 2 inches to that, and from the center of the back of the trailer, went 1/2 of the total to each side.Ended up loading great and the guide-on posts sit approx 1 -2 inches from the side of the back of the boat.On a windy day I load myself with no problems.
