Twins Stadium Bill

I sent an e-mail urging support of the stadium bill to Represenrtative Connie Ruth she called and sent a reply. Here is the reply she sent:

Dear Rick,

Thank you for your support of the Twins ballpark stadium. Appointed by

Governor Pawlenty to the stadium task force last biennium, I have heard

many hours of testimony on the benefits of a new stadium.

In order to pass this into law during the special session, we will have

to have agreement on the financial bills that remain to be passed.

Please encourage Senator Dean Johnson, DFL lead of the Senate, to attend

the meetings with Governor Pawlenty and Speaker Steve Sviggum to move

this special session to completion.

Thank you again for contacting me. I agree with you and hope we will

soon have a new Twins stadium.
