First muskie of year!!!!!

Just got back from NW WI, opened the muskie season just south of Hayward on a small lake I grew up muskie fishing. Boated a 37" on a Mepps #5 and a 35" on a reaper, both tigers. Man it was awesome being back on the water. Any other early reports?

I just caught my first Muskie of the year "2nd of my life" on pool 2 of the Mississippi, caught it at 1130 pm on a jig and plastic tipped with a fathead vertical jigging off of a bridge in 5 fow 1 foot below the water, man was that fun as soon as it jumped my dad yelled MUSKIE it looked to be about 7 or 8 pounds, not sure if it was a tiger or not it was dark we got her back in the water quick.
