Motor problem....Its not peeing!!! 1998 90hp Tracker Mercury

Hi, last weekend my motor stopped "peeing". I did some research and found that it was probably an impeller problem. I replaced that last night, took her to the lake, still no water coming out. I also tried running some weed eater cord up the hole to try and clear anything. That also didn't do anything. Whats my next step? Should there be water coming out all the time? Or only when it heats up??? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks, Alex

Got it figured out. Someone on another board advised that I should use an air compressor to flush the system. Tried it at lunch and it worked!!!

I had this problem. Turns out some minerals in the water had crystallized in there [or sand]. I blew it out with my mouth and it worked.

My '99 Merc 60HP plugs up all the time in the green waters around here. The wire from a bottom bouncer works great to clean it out.
