I have gas smell in my boat and I can't find leak or something wrong I check hose and no gas leak when I pick it up from storeage(outside) and I clean it up no smell till I start it up that how I smell gas so did any happen to you? My boat is 1997 smoke craft pro mad 161

Is the gas tank in-board or is it a remote tank?

If it is remote, I would try venting the tank.

I remember having a similar issue when I was running remote tanks, as pressure would build up and either purge into the carbs, flooding the bowls, or would leak around the gasket on the connector for the tank.

Just a thought or two...

I am not sure what it is but my boat come with gas in( not 6 gallon tank)
