Lakemaster route transfer help

I am having trouble transfering a route that I made on my lakemaster software to my Garmin 72. I can transfer waypoints but for some reason I can't send the route to the transfer file. What am I doing wrong?

Left click "gps" at the top of the screen. select waypoint transfer. click on clear (this is so that only the route will be in the transfer file when you are finished with the following)Hold pointer over the route until the yellow box appears. Left click select "add to gps transfer file". Select "GPS" from the top of the screen. select waypoint transfer. Click on select all and then export route.

I just downloaded all the good routes from the last three openers to my 12XL yesterday! hope this helps.
