DeBo101
We were there during the first part of June last year and did quite well just casting shorlines. We caught smallies up to 18", pike to 14 lbs, and walleyes to 5.5 lbs. I would think the smallies and pike will still be fairly shallow in the middle of june. One group I know of goes during the middle of june and they usually catch plenty of walleyes on bouncers and spinners in less than 20 FOW. I have heard there are crappies to be caught but we have never tried. June is usually a good time to be fishing the minaki area.
