Just heard on KFAN that Twins recalled Terry Tiffee and sent down Corky Miller. I am happy that we finally have a decent pinch hitter/bench guy. Hopefully he'll make the best of it and be up with the club the whole year.

Maybe it's a move to try to light a fire under Cuddyer...hope it works.

Just a move to add some versatility to the bench, since we basically had none with Corky Miller around.

Cuddyer doesn't need to be lit, he's already on fire! He's 8 for 19 (.421) in his last five games and is 5 for 8 in his last two.

Yep. Cuddyer is coming around. Like I said earlier, just give him time and he will be a plenty servicable #8 hitter. Still looking at .260-.280 with about 15-20 hrs. and probably 50-70 rbis. That's what I would expect.

They brought Tiffe up to have another option coming off the bench. Mainly to light a fire under Lecroy's butt. I guess the bases loaded PH groundout vs. Angels last sunday (I was there) by Lecroy got Gardy pretty [PoorWordUsage]ed off.
