MinnKota Trolling motor repair

RainyEye

Question

Just got back from Mtka. Ist time out and I discovered my trolling motor doesn't work. The foot control turned the motor at 1st , the prop didn't spin and it made a clicking noise inside the base. Then it went completely dead- no noise or turning.I checked the battery when I got home and it's at 80%. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm at a loss. Should I take it in somewhere or isn't it worth it??

Took my Minkota trolling motor into the Motor Clinic today and like has been said already, I was really impressed with the service and quick diagnosis of the problem. I just stood there and watched and in a few minutes I was out of there with my new part( which turned out to be the foot pedal). I will certainly recommend them!
