lawmanjoe
I assume this will do a good job slowing the boat down for trolling, the ad says it will also provide better performance when running too. I'm curious what diffence in performance people have noticed. Thanks,
0 FullTilt
I'm not familiar with the Hydro Troll but a drift sock off the front has worked great in the past. My previous boat had an old 50 hp that didn't idle down enough for back trolling. I bought a drift sock that was one size bigger than recommended and hung it off the front eyelet. Once you get used to it the boat control is hard to beat because you can pivot around the nose of the boat.
0 PT73
The Hydo Troll is a sub standard product, the drift sock will do a much better job slowing you down.
