just got the new lotw chip for x15 seems to run really slow i do have the new 3.6 upgrade installed also when its thinking a picture of the chip flash"s in the corner of the screen is this normal

Yes it's normal for the chip icon in the corner.

Sorry, I can't help you with how slow your x-15 is though.
