Fenwick HMX baitcasting rod?

How are the mid-range Fenwick baitcasting rods? The one I'm considering runs about $80 (HMX model). Does anyone have experience with these?

I bought a Fenwick HMX 7' MH baitcaster for $40 at Fleetfarm about a month ago. I wonder if it was priced wrong?

Ive only made a few casts with it, it seems like a nice rod.
