What GPS to get?

I am looking at getting a GPS of my own, and I am wondering what brand and model is the best choice for the money? I will use it mostly for ice fishing and loading lake maps? Any insight would be great..

The electronics market offers many excellent choices making your dilemma challenging. I recently purchased a version of the I-Finder which as you may know is a Lowrance product. I have been very pleased with this unit. The screen measures 3” diagonally with a pixel count of 240V X 180H which is adequate size for viewing. What I like most however is the commands are similar to my Lowrance unit that I have on the boat, making it very easy to learn and operate. Lastly, the ease of moving my data to and from each unit is a snap. I hope this helps. Dan Lewin
