Big gamefish still open?

Fishing this weekend on area lakes near st croix falls and turtle lake, everybody was using tip-ups.

Is the season still open?

I watched 3 groups of people catch a bass on a tip-up and keep the bass.

no so dont think about it! gamefish closed here at midnite on the 6th.

I didn't care to fish for any other fish than crappies sunnies and perch.

Did pretty good on all 3 species with the nice weather.

Watched a group catch a 17" bass and they called it a 5#er

I must have a few 10#ers caught already then
