OK, I have found the big slabs to (crappies & Sunfish) to be in both: with the slaller fish & in a school of there own.

Is there a common denominator for both, so you know if you are fishing the school of slab or the school of small & slabers?

Is there something I'm missing? I know there are other factors that depict why they are there weather, food source ect...but is there a common link that I'm missing?
