trout fishing in the marina by pierre??

has anyone been fishing in the marina for trout have they been biting lately

Took my son out to the marina last Sat afternoon just to pass some time and try to hook a trout. We were out there for an hour or so and witnessed about 6 or 8 larger trout caught by the guys that were out there fly fishing. We caught 2 smaller ones. Now's the time to try it out there for the larger fish. Usually the week before and the week after Easter the GF&P dumps in a bunch of 8-12 inchers out there and catching the larger ones become few and far between. Its great fun for the kids or whoever enjoys catching trout after they dump the smaller ones in.

thanks for the reply we were out there yesterday and caght 3 ranging from 2 - 4.5 pounds the guys fly fishing did quite a bit better there was one guy out there that must have caght close to 15 fish
