Wishin2BFishin
Went hardwater fishin on Sunday & Monday. Sunday the ice was snow free and VERY slick! Just have to get some cleats to use next year. Setup my five tipups at 8:00 first fish was my biggest LM Bass ever a 20 inch big fat 5 1/2 lb female! Real nice fight! Could not believe it but less than 15 minutes later in the same hole a 18 inch LM Bass! I didn't think two Bass would be in that small of an area? Ended up getting six Bass total and also got a 14 inch Crappie to end my day! All fish were returned to the pond. Let my buddy talk me into going yesterday. Snowing hard and windy. Still kind of slick walking on the ice. Tried another spot on the same pond but I think the weather front must have slowed the fish down as it was real slow. Managed to get a real nice Chain Pickrel 22 inches about 4 lbs. Getting too old to go fishin two days in a row but had fun.
