Northwest Bay - Rainy Lake

Anyone know how or where to find crappies in Northwest Bay of Rainy Lake in the summer? I've fished that lake for over 20 years and have never been able to find crappies. Walleyes...no problem....northerns...no problem...smallies...no problem....crappies....BIG problem!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If you try and post in the Rainy Lake forum, two people that are pretty knowledgeable are fishmeister and crappiefishinfool. They follow the threads closely and have a wealth of information.
