In Alaska one of the most popular lures is the Egg sucking leech. Has anyone ever used leecehs for stream trout or steelhead? I've never herd of anyone using them, but if you think abouit, they live longer than crawlers and are more durable.

Several yrs. ago I tried them a few times. I did get some specks on them. I tried them because often when checking to see what they were eating there was leeches in them. Leeches did'nt seem to work as good as other methods. But also, maybe I did'nt give them a fair try either.
