Is anything happening on Spirit, West, East or any other satellite lakes up there? From what I hear it is hit and miss for the most part. We are heading up to the area this weekend and would be grateful for any info. Thanks!!

Remember muskie and walleye season is now closed on East,West, and Big Spirit. I have been fighting the flu the last week so I can't tell you abut any hot bites.

Fished a local pond Saturday and it looks like to me our season in this area is nearing its' end. Just enough to feel somewhat safe, but 3-5 inches was about all I could find. Did pick up a few bluegills, and it was a nice day to be out, but I hate dark ice.
