Yellow &Little Yellow Lakes---Burnett County!!

Has anyone fished these 2 lakes for Bass??? I was thinking of fishing these lakes early in May and want to know a little info on the lake??

I see that both smallmouth and largemouth are present, are there decent populations of both?? What is some of the dominant structure or cover that the fish prefer....how about some patterns that work better than others...

any info would help!!!

There is not a catchable number of smallmouth in either lake. The Yellow River might have an ok population but the lakes dont.

the lakes are primarily fished for walleyes in may,river doesnt see much action until mid june at the earliest

low water levels until the dam closes
